I have a specialized goal--to acquire Russian diction so as to be able to perform a Russian song cycle a couple of months from now. In this first meeting we not only jumped straight into diction, but also interpretation of the poetry and books I might get on both Alexander Blok's life and very basic Russian vocabulary & grammar (so there would be some context for the poetry I will be singing).
